All About Journey
Journey is an English Labrador Retriever from champion bloodlines. He is a Am CH Glen-Mar Rhapsody Bonner Blue grandson and Am CH Ghoststone's Louie Downtown great-grandson. We adore him! He is our resident stud and the sweetest member of our Labrador family. We acquired him from a wonderful breeder in Yelm, WA and he hits all the marks for us.
He is currently 3 years old, weighs in at 90 lbs, and his coat, a beautiful light gold color, is thick, dense and wavy on top with a fat otter tail.
Other Fun Facts about Journey
His retriever genes are STRONG! A happy Journey always has something in his mouth. He loves to play and he loves the water.
Journey's puppy stage was a dream. He was the calmest puppy and I often joked that I should have named him "Ferdinand" after the vintage children's story. He loved to "sit and smell the flowers".
Journey is a beautifully proportioned English lab, with rich black nose and pad pigment.
Journey will produce yellow and black puppies. His coat color genetic code is: eeBB (Yellow, Black with no Chocolate factor)
He is not food motivated! There is actually a gene for this and he has the "Not likely to be food motivated" gene. He prefers his stuffy or chasing a laser pointer!
Journey is a gentle boy, not dominate, but sweet and snuggly. He loves people, other dogs and is very praise motivated. We saw all of these wonderful traits passed on to his puppies.

Hips: Journey's right hip shows a mild hyperextension injury he sustained during an emergency surgery. His left hip is good. He does not have genetic hip dysplasia. I consulted with both his vet and his breeder and it was an easy decision for us to move forward with him as the star of our breeding program. His genetics and temperament are irreplaceable and I feel so honored to have him.

"Maple"
All About Maple
Maple is our female English Labrador Retriever from champion bloodlines. She is the sassiest, most playful member of our family. We acquired her from a wonderful kennel in Orting, WA that specializes in thick, gorgeous chocolate Labradors.
Maple is 4 years old, weighs in at 90 lbs and her coat is a rich mahogany color, mid-length and wavey on top with a nice otter tail.
Other Fun Facts About Maple
Maple is our pack "Alpha" and while she is usually the ring leader of mischief, she is most often found masquerading as a couch potato or searching for ALL of the attention.
Maple ADORES going to the vet! She OWNS those vet outings and makes sure that every person gets some attention.
She has never met a friend or dog she didn't love while out on a walk. Despite her bubbly personality, she is also our best home and property protector and lets us know immediately of night time activity.
Maple is a thick and blocky English Lab, standing about 23" from front paw to top of her shoulder.
Her coat color genetic code is: Eebb (Chocolate carrying Yellow factor)
When Maple and Journey are bred together, they produce yellow and black puppies.
She is very food motivated! She has the "Very likely to be food motivated" gene. Treat training for the win!

Maple and Journey had their first litter in January 2024 and produced some gorgeous, thick, blocky pups with amazing coats and the sweetest disposition. She followed with two singleton litters, Moses and Opal, and then recently, Lewis. We do not plan to breed her this cycle but just enjoy her.

All About Lily
Lily is our female English/American Labrador Retriever from champion bloodlines and a long line of titled retrievers. She is truly a gem! We acquired her from the same wonderful kennel in Yelm, WA as Journey.
Lily is 4 years old and is solid Labrador, toping the scale at 85 lbs. It is all muscle though as she is our most athletic Labrador. Her coat is a rich, chestnut color, short, thick and shiny and she has a gorgeous classic head with the most expressive eyes. When bred with Journey, their puppies are black, beautifully proportioned with gorgeous coats, beautiful heads and a deep desire to please.
Other Fun Facts About Lily
Lily gave birth to a litter of NINE gorgeous black puppies on July 12th, 2025. We have loved getting frequent updates on all of these babies. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are sweet, smart and very trainable. They love their families! We are hoping for a repeat litter in August 2026
Lily LOVES her family. She is a sweet, tender hearted Lab that lives for people interaction. She is fantastic with kids and willing gives comfort through all of those adolescent growing pains.
Lily is VERY smart. Once she gets a concept, she does it 110%. She scored almost a perfect score at obedience school.
We named her "Dance of the Daylily" because when she was a puppy she spent most of her time dancing on her hind feet like a ballerina! She was our more high-energy puppy but has developed into a such a wonderful dog with a beautiful, receptive and loving personality.
Her coat color genetic code is: EEbb (Chocolate with dominate black factor)
When Lily is bred to Journey, they will produce all black puppies.
She is highly food motivated! She has the "May be food motivated" gene but she certainly expresses it.
Lily is a very special Labrador Retriever and I feel privileged to be chosen as her earth parent.
